मृत्तिकेचे पात्र श्यामल
नीर भरले गात्र श्यामल

रातराणीच्या फुलांनी
चिंब भिजली रात्र श्यामल

सप्तरंगी डुंबले मी
रंग भावे मात्र श्यामल

झरझरे ही शब्दधारा
नेत्र जैसे शास्त्र श्यामल

माउली-गुरू नाद घुमतो
रंगलेले छात्र श्यामल

तू ‘सुनेत्रा’ बरस गरजत
वाहुदे हे पात्र श्यामल
